TRADITIONAL CHINESE APPROACH

This ancient art, thousands of years old, considers the individual as a whole. Beyond isolated imbalances, and with all elements of the body intimately linked and interdependent, it aims to balance the forces of yin 阴 and yang 阳 to allow the vital energy to flow freely. The goal is not to eradicate a symptom but to re-harmonize the body as a whole, helping it return to its point of true balance, in order to prevent or release physical, energetic, or emotional blockages.
The human body is capable of regulating itself at all times. But when an energetic imbalance arises (as a result of external factors, an emotion, or a physical trauma) and persists for too long, it turns into a blockage and leads to a state of unease, or even internal disorder. This is why it is essential to work on the qi 气, helping the body recover the vital forces that allow it to restore its natural balance. To do so, it draws on five therapeutic branches: acupressure 针灸, Chinese dietetics 中医食疗, herbal medicine, Qi Gong 气功 (energy exercises), and massage such as Tui Na 推拿 massage (energizing and invigorating).
The scope of traditional Chinese medicine is very broad. Because it takes into account the many facets of a person (physical ailments, emotions, personal history...), it can relieve anxiety, distress, and sleep difficulties, as well as physical discomforts such as stomachaches, headaches, gynecological disorders...
